His literary ambitions began famously (or perhaps infamously) in the 7th grade, when he handed in a "short" creative writing assignment that spanned two entire exercise books—much to the shock of his English teacher.
Though life has led him down many paths since his school days, writing has remained his constant North Star. When he isn’t crafting new worlds, Stuart is a devoted father to his three sons.
